Over three days in August we installed a reading salon at SAAL Biennaal in Tallinn. Housed in the cellar of Kanuti Gildi Saal visitors were invited to read, converse and hangout in the space. During the opening hours of the reading room/bookshop, we screened “Xenotopia” a newly commised film by Quanta Qualia (Siet Raeymaekers and Tomàs Dittborn). 

On August 19th we went live on eˉlektron signal radio, creating a spontaneous collective mixedtape where visitors in the space could read aloud from the books within the collection. The mixed tape was then followed with a concert by Argo Vals. Read more about the radio program here. 

Thank you to everyone who passed by the reading salon last week, it was a pleasure to share it with you. And, a huge thank you to the team at Kanuti Gildi Saal for bringing rile* to Tallinn! We miss you already.
