Internships

rile* welcomes applications for internships throughout the year. At this point we are looking for people with availabilities from 2025 onward.

Be a part of our team and work first-hand with the organisation of an artist-run project space and bookshop, as well as our curatorial projects. The internship will involve maintaining the bookshop, building relationships with publishing projects, artists and writers alike, and can include general office organisation and event coordination. Depending on your interests, we can find ways to engage your own research and work within the internship.

Applicants should have a background in art, design, literature and/or publishing and a willingness to do entry-level intern work, while being provided with exposure to the inner-workings of an artist-run presentation platform and bookshop. Ideal candidates have an intersectional feminist approach to work, keen organisational skills, attention to detail and a proficiency with social media outlets.

Internships run for a minimum of 4 months. Interns should be able to commit 1-2 days per week, approximately 12-7pm. The schedule of the internship can be decided together. This internship is unfortunately unpaid, but we are willing to assist interns with applications to fund their internship.

If you’re interested, you can submit a CV, bio or anything else that introduces you, with a cover letter shortly describing why you’d like to do an internship at rile* to info@rile.space.
