For the Interjection Calendar each month Montez Press invites an artist, a writer, a poet or a doer of some sorts to say things. All 12 pieces have introspection and reflection in common. They are a subjective overview of writing in the expanded field of contemporary art and writing in the year 2019. This is the Interjection Calendar 2019, the fifth collection in this series.

The theme was built around the idiom “VOSTOK”, the title given by Stéphanie Pécourt to her cycle dedicated to performative semantics, in which carte-blanches signed by guest curators at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles are deployed. Buried beneath several kilometers of ice, Lake Vostok acts as an invitation that both fascinates and refuses us. This sub-glacial lake on the edge of Antarctica, the largest identified, becomes the mirror-object of our desires and fears for the abyssal depths. The title of the program, Now I am a Lake, is taken from Sylvia Plath's poem Mirror (1961).

This booklet includes the scripts and texts of the performances, translated exclusively into French for the occasion, as well as images from the videos presented at the eponymous event. The compilation focuses on Sylvia Plath's poem Mirror, and includes an introductory text by curator Pauline Hatzigeorgiou.

The new publication triangulates between geopoetics, geopolitics, and cultural geography; a 464 page issue with some 50 contributors as well as a large section on Swedish philosophical geographer Gunnar Olsson.

The straplines of a number of advertisements drawn from magazines of the 1950s are turned into drawings, as though a particularly vain and narcissistic woman speaks (as of course she does), She is ‘en pleine forme’ of her beauty. (2016).

les petites histoires sont quatre courtes fictions contemporaines. Entre le lonely langoureux New York des années deux mille, le pont poétique et capricieux de Louis 2 de Bavière, l'histoire vraie de Sandy Stone dans les seventies et la satire cinglante et drôle d'une galerie d'art, ces livres sont de brefs univers vivants et curieux.

En 2025, quatre petites histoires sont racontées par quatre auteurices dans quatre livres : L'effondrement du pont de Sam Bouffandeau ; The Gallery de S. M. Drogo ; Exit de Juli Le Nahelec; «Que faire de Sandy Stone?» de Mia Trabalon.

L'édition des petites histoires a été imaginée par Élise Comte, Chloé Delchini, Perrine Estienne, Gabriel René Franjou, Justine Gensse, Bastien Hauser, et Cyprien Muth. Ce collectif d'éditeurices est né à Bruxelles, où les petites histoires ont été imprimées, chez Graphius. 
La maquette, réalisée par Chloé Delchini, à été composée avec Otto, une typographie dessinée par Sam de Groot et Laura Opsomer Mironov, chez Dinamo Typefaces.
