No Private Problems by Eleanor Weber are 43 A3 poster-poems and 6 A4 profile texts (AP, AW, CV, JA, ML, SB) first printed (artist prints) for the exhibition at M.I/mi1glissé, Berlin, 24 February – 5 March 2016. Reprinted (1st edition) for rile*, Brussels, 6 June 2019. No Private Problems was an exhibition about six “historical figures”: Alejandra Pizarnik, Amy Winehouse, Christine Villemin, Joan of Arc, Monica Lewinsky, Sandra Bland. The text-based works in the show circled around the histories of these women – the official and the unofficial – using media, history, literature and psychoanalysis. It treated themes such as voice, law, morality, religion, dress, self-destruction and female illegibility. The custom typeface designed by Ella Sutherland and is based on Eleanor Weber’s handwriting. / series available at rile*
